**Church organs playing** **Domestic light beers being cracked** **Wells lot singing in unison** CHRIST HAS DIED, CHRIST HAS RISEN, CARSON WILL COME AGAIN!!!
Being on the West Coast this is how I envision Sunday’s tailgate starting in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Finally, the wait is over! He is back!
I'd like to personally thank Nick Foles for not only helping deliver a Super Bowl to the City of Philadelphia but also for giving me the joy of re-watching "THE PHILLY SPECIAL" on a weekly basis. BUT please do us all a favor and sit your ass on the bench..
I'll let Dwayne take this one...
This is Carson's team, this is Carson’s vessel and he's gonna steer this ship right back to the playoffs. I have a theory that putting a statue of Nick Foles up outside the stadium was secretly Carson's idea, strictly to motivate himself and someday earn and build a statue of his own with his bare hands in the near future.
Anyways, lets get to some Fantasy football and some guys that I think are in line for a good week.
QB: Patrick Mahomes
This cat has 10 TD's and 0 INTs through 2 games, 2 games!!!! San Fran ranks 26th against opposing QBs this season, not to mention that this game is in Arrowhead. If the prior weeks were any indication of what Mahomes and his rifle for an arm are capable of, the scoreboard might break in KC come Sunday.
RB: Christian McCaffrey
Not a whole lot of volume as far as carries go but 22 is an absolute PPR machine. He had 14 catches last week for over 100 yards and this week he has a home game against the Bengals who I think are absolute frauds! There Defense has also gotten chewed up by Indy and Baltimore when it comes to opposing RB's, does anyone know without using your phone or google who the RB of Indy is? This is my point, McCaffrey is a stud and one of my favorite plays this week.
RB: Dalvin Cook
If he's healthy this week, START HIM. The Bills stink, Melvin Gordon made it look too easy last week, it was like playing your 6 year old cousin in Madden on Thanksgiving and he doesn't even know the buttons. I have a feeling the Bills are in for a rough one this weekend going up against arguably the most potent offense in football. I gotta believe at some point Minnesota wants to get Cook goin. Keep an eye out though, if he doesn't play or is limited I feel the exact same way if it's Latavius Murray that we're pluggin in.
WR: Julio Jones
The Saints are dead last against wideouts. Julio Jones is the most uncoverable receiver in this league, I don't care what anyone says. In his 13 career games against the Saints he has caught 75 balls for 1,175 yards. That's 5.7 catches-per-game and 90 yards-per-game. Not a bad stat line and oh yea, he ranks 3rd in targets in the entire league. Matty Ice to Julio early and often.
WR: Brandin Cooks
Chargers D is still a little banged up and they're facing off against the Rams who have been dominating teams on both sides of the ball. Should be a good battle between the two teams that call LA home. I think Cooks connects with Goff on a few big plays.
Honestly, in my opinion the biggest beneficiary of the Josh Gordon trade is 87. He was doubled all game against Jacksonville and you could clearly see the frustration, how are you going to double Gronk with Flash Gordon out there? You can't. Gronk is going to feast with Gordon in the lineup and oh yea they get Edelman back in a couple weeks. Damnit, I hate the Pats.
