The Browns tied Big Ben & company (who was horrendous btw.)
Aaron Rodgers is officially back! I mean what a performance from him. For everyone that had Pack moneyline I'm sure you were ready to punch a whole through your TV at halftime, but he showed everyone why he's the best on the planet.
The Lions got absolutely embarrassed by the JETS. I'll remove STINK BOMB this week until they show their true colors again, but I'll admit Darnold looked solid. Stafford might have been drunk during that game, I'm actually convinced he was gassin' a few coldies on the sideline. And quick personal grudge that I have with Matt Patricia's backwards hat and his stupid #2 pencil, has anyone ever seen this guy actually use the pencil before? Pretty sure the play sheet is fucking laminated!!
Fitz led an air raid over the Saints, the Rams D looked scary, and Nate Peterman has no business being a starting QB in this league...
I can't wait for this Sunday and to watch Football all day again. Last week I gave you guys some players that I said were going to have big weeks, I expect to take the heat if I'm wrong but expect me to gloat & toot my fuckin' horn when I'm on the money.
Kirk Cousins: threw for 244 yds / 2 TD's / rushed 4 x 26 yds / 23.6 pts
Dion Lewis: rushed 16 x 75 yds 1 TD / caught 5 balls 35 yds / 22 pts
Larry Fitz: caught 7 balls 76 yds / 14.6 pts
Cooper Kupp: caught 5 balls 52 yds 1 TD / rushed 2 x 16 yds/ 17.8 pts
Greg Olsen: caught 2 balls 33yds / 5.3 pts ** very unfortunate injury for TLG (Third-Leg-Greg) & the Panthers hope he gets better soon **
Not a bad week 1, now lets gear up for week 2 with some of the guys I am confidently streaming this week.
QB: Nick Foles
Big-Dick-Nick must have had it taped too tight to the the ankle last week. fortunately his 2nd half was much better and he seemed to settle in. I'm expecting the Dougy P to dial it up on O and air it out. I know the Bucs just beat the Saints but they are not a good team. Drew Brees threw for over 400 yards and 3 TD's, and I can see their defense struggling again this week. I expect to see MVP Nick Foles on Sunday.
RB: Todd Gurley
Arizona got absolutely torched on the ground last week. AP looked like his old self and while he may have proven he still has some juice left in the tank, the Cardinals are just flat out bad up front. I'm thinking Gurley has the best week out of any RB. Early and often for TGIII this Sunday.
RB: Jordan Howard
First things first-- Seahawks D is a shell of what it used to be. Howard was rollin' in the first half last week until A-ROD showed up like the Undertaker in Wrestlemania. I think the Bears will find themselves trying to be more balanced passing and running this week, and hopefully not looking like a deer in headlights. I think he is the engine to this offense and even showed last week that Cohen isn't the only one that can catch out of the backfield.
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
He had a decent week even though Watson had a sub par outing, he was able to shake off the rust. But like I said on the Glockcast, you didn't draft Hopkins to have just a decent week, you drafted him for TD's and point production. I think he gets going this week against a Titans team that made Ryan Tannehill look elite for a few drives and made Kenny Stills look like Randy Moss.
WR: Golden Tate
Yea, we've established that Stafford was drunk last game, but there's no way he could be that bad again. Despite the quarterback being borderline blacked out, he targeted Tate 15 times! Imagine if he was sober & hit him more than just 7 times. I love him this week, in PPR formats especially.
TE: Travis Kelce
Dude had 1 catch for 6 yards last week during the Mahomes/ Hill show. I have to think his usage goes up in a big way and will be heavily involved in the red zone. I'm expecting this to be a high scoring game so this should be a good spot for TK.
DFS plays, value, fliers, boom or bust:
QB: Philip Rivers RB: Alfred Morris RB: Chris Thompson WR: Mike Wallace WR: Sterling Shepard TE: Antonio Gates
