The updated Vegas odds do not look great for the Sixers.
Am I throwing in the towel?
Nope, not until I see whatever extravagant way LeBron decides to let the world know where he is playing next season.
If anything, I think what the Sixers did on draft night helped their chances of landing LeBron. They now have another asset to throw around to potentially add another star.
However, it's clear that the Sixers are behind the Cavs and Lakers in the pecking order.
Ben and Jo don't want to play with LeBron?
Another tidbit I found from CBS was an article promoting handicapper Josh Nagel's advice on what team to bet on when it comes to LeBron.
Nagel may be right in saying that the Sixers won't be the team to land LeBron, but his reasoning is completely off-base.
Sour at the perception of playing with the best player ever?
Ummmm... I don' think so.
Embiid has been recruiting LeBron since 2014.
Simmons and LeBron have the same agent, and are like big brother/little brother.
LeBron put a picture of him and Ben on his instagram!!!
This type of reasoning is why I can't throw the towel in just yet.
There isn't a "good" basketball reason for LeBron to NOT come to Philly.
It just comes down to if LeBron and his family want to live in the Philly area, or not.
We still have a long way to go, it's only day 13!!
