The most noteworthy news that came from the Jim Schwartz/Frank Reich weekly press conferences was that Danell Ellerbe will be the starting middle linebacker moving forward.
I didn't think Ellerbe played overwhelmingly well on Monday, but he is certainly an upgrade from Joe Walker and Najee Goode. Hopefully he cant get more reps this week, and continue to play himself into game shape.
It would be one hell of a story if Jones was active for Sunday's game. If he is truly healthy, I say why not?
The Eagles are a 2.5 point underdog for Sunday's game. Like I said yesterday on our instagram story, either Vegas is sold that the Eagles will rest their players, or they think the Eagles are done.
Nick Wright obviously thinks the Eagles are done. He couldn't run his mouth fast enough. He hasn't had many opportunities, but is taking full advantage of beating up on the Nick Foles led, 13-2 Eagles.
I don't think Vegas is completely out on the Eagles as far as making it to the Super Bowl goes. Despite what Nick Wright believes, the Eagles still have a 4/1 shot to make it to Minnesota.
As far as winning the Super Bowl, Vegas is not exactly buying in. Some places have it as high as 15/1. Bovada has is at 10/1.
Along with Vegas, everyone is loving the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings need a win Sunday or a Carolina loss to clinch a bye. So they will be playing their starters at home
Todd Gulrey is the MVP?
I still believe Carson Wentz should still win the award, but Todd Gurley is your new favorite entering week 17.
