For the second week in a row there is a new number 1 team.
The Steelers and Panthers are proving me right, while the Jaguars are proving me wrong.
Whos' up? Who's down?
Here are the OFFICIAL power rankings heading into week 15.
1.STEELERS: Another 30+ point game for the Steelers. 500+ yards for Big Ben. The Steelers are the only team in the AFC who has a chance to beat New England in the playoffs, and they will need to beat them this week so they can play at Heinz Field come January. AB84 making a case for MVP, dude is a freak.
2. EAGLES: The Wentz injury is the worst thing that could have happened to this team. But their motto is next man up. Peters, Sproles, Hicks, Sturgis, to name a few. The Eagles continue to have players step up. It will be up to Nick Foles to keep Philadelphia’s Superbowl aspirations alive.
3.PATRIOTS: The loss of Gronk was felt. They were flat, couldn’t stop a pass rush, and couldn’t convert a third down. They get the benefit of the doubt because they are New England, but they looked ordinary.
4.PANTHERS: This is what good teams do. They bounce back after a tough divisional loss and beat a very good Minnesota team.
5.SAINTS: Tough loss on Thursday night in Atlanta, and tough loss to their stud RB Kamara which clearly effected their offensive rhythm. Fortunately for them they have a lot of firepower and should bounce back.
6.VIKINGS: It was only a matter of time before Case Keenum lost a game. Although they had a subpar performance on Sunday, the Vikings are still a legit contender thanks to their defense and head coach.
7.RAMS: The Rams still have a very high powered offense as shown on Sunday. Not their fault they had to play against one of the best teams in the league, and they still control their own destiny thanks to the Seahawks loss.
8. SEAHAWKS: A bad loss on the road to a team I don’t believe in. They will bounce back with a win on Sunday.
9.JAGUARS: Biggest jump for a team all season. I do not really believe in this team, but their record proves me wrong. Are the Jaguars legit? Time will tell but they have wins against the Steelers and Seahawks.
10.FALCONS: Dan Quinn tried hard to lose the Saints game. Matt Ryan’s 3 interceptions didn’t help. However, they found a way to win a huge game on Thursday and continue to keep playoff hopes(and potentially division champ hopes) alive.
11.CHARGERS: Another win in dominant fashion. Are the chargers the hottest offense in football? Can anyone cover Keenan Allen? Certainly not anyone on Washington. I think Rivers threw for 7000 yards on Sunday.
12.PACKERS: A comeback win down from 14 with backup QB keeps the Packers playoff hopes alive. Now get ready to read something that scares all other 31 teams… Aaron Rodgers is returning.
ON THE BUBBLE
CHIEFS: Still tied with the Chargers for the division, they made a statement this Sunday and made Derrick Carr look like he had no idea how to play the game of football.
TITANS: A terrible loss in Arizona has them out of the top 12 for this week. It's simple- they stink! BUT they can still make the playoffs in a weak AFC.
COWBOYS: Last week I asked someone to finish them off, unfortunately the Giants could not. Do not let them make the playoffs with a fresh Zeke.
LIONS: Stafford fought through his injury and set up Matt Prater for a game winning Boomer, keeping a potential wildcard berth within reach.
BILLS: The SnowBowl victory keeps playoff hopes alive in Buffalo.
RAVENS: Wildcard is not out of the question even with a brutal 39-38 loss to the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Joe Flacco is not elite though if anyone was wondering.
